The rules of the lam (lafzul jalalah)

Introduction:

This blog is going to talk about one of the most important Tajweed rules. This blog is going to talk about the rules of the (lam in Lafzul – jalalah). Lafzul jallalah means in Arabic (the word of majesty) . By Lafzul jallalah we mean the word (Allah). The word Allah is very significant. It has two rules of Tajweed. First, it consists of the definite article (al). It also consists of the word Illah. so, to analyze the word Allah, we can say it consists of the syllable (al), which means (the) in arabic. in addition, it consists of the word (Illah), which means God in Arabic.

The tajweed rules in the word (Allah):

We are going to discuss and talk about the rules of the lam of(Lafzul Jalalah). Over time, the word al-illah developed to become al-lah. However, the second syllable (lah) starts with the letter lam. The letter lam is shamsia. Therefore the lam in (al) is silent. It is eventually read as (Allah). Therefore, the lam in both words is Mushaddad. Moreover, the word Allah and the word Allahumma have either a light lam or a dark lam. When a fatiha, an alif or a dammah comes before either word, the lam is dark. Likewise, when the reader starts his or her reading with the word (Allah) or (Allahumma), the lam in both words is dark in this case as well. join E-aalim and learn the rules of the lam of (Lafzul jalalah)

The rules of the lam (Lafzul jalalah)

Examples:

فَأَخَذَهُ ٱللَّهُ – يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ – وَٱللَّهُ – سَمِعَ ٱللَّهُ – إِلَى ٱللَّهِ

وَٱللَّهُ – إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ – وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ – حُدُودُ ٱللَّهِ ۗ – يُحَآدُّونَ ٱللَّهَ

On the other hand, if a kasra precedes the word Allah or Allahumma, the lam in the word Allah or Allahumma is light.

Examples:

بِٱللَّهِ – بِهِ ٱللَّهُ – يَفْسَحِ ٱللَّهُ – يَرْفَعِ ٱللَّهُ – دين الله – بِإِذْنِ

ٱللَّهِ ۚ – سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ – بِٱللَّهِ – لِلَّهِ – يُشَآقِّ ٱللَّهَ – فَبِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ
