The Role of Lot’s Daughters in the Story
When Allah sent angels in the form of men to Prophet Lot, his people came to his house with sinful intentions. When they faced with this terrible situation, Lot said to his people:
{هَؤُلَاءِ بَنَاتِي هُنَّ أَطْهَرُ لَكُمْ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَلَا تُخْزُونِ فِي ضَيْفِي} (Surah Hud: 78)
Interpretations of the Verse
Really, scholars provide two main interpretations for this statement:
Literal Interpretation:
Truly, Lot was offering his own daughters for lawful marriage as a pure and legitimate alternative to their immoral desires.
Broader Interpretation:
Therefore, as a prophet, we se Lot as the "spiritual father" of all believing women in his community, and his statement refers to these women as symbols of purity and modesty.
Anyway, in either case, the message remains clear: Lot was guiding his people to the lawful and moral path instead of indulging in sin.
The Escape from Punishment
At last, when the corruption of the people of Lot reached its peak, Allah decreed their punishment. Eventually, allah commanded Lot and his family to leave the city at night without looking back.
Allah says:
{فَأَسْرِ بِأَهْلِكَ بِقِطْعٍ مِّنَ اللَّيْلِ وَلَا يَلْتَفِتْ مِنكُمْ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَكَ} (Surah Hud: 81)
Lot's daughters followed their father without hesitation, demonstrating:
Their complete trust in Allah’s command.

While Lot's daughters were saved, his wife chose to disobey and remained with the corrupt people, resulting in her destruction
