Muhammad Siddiq Al-Minshawi (January 20, 1920 - June 20, 1969) was an Egyptian Quran reader who is considered one of the prominent and famous figures in the field of Islam, and one of the pioneers of recitation distinguished by his recitation and worm. In 1966, he contracted esophageal varices, and despite his illness, he continued to read the Qur’an until he passed away on Friday, 5 Rabi’ al-Thani 1389 AH corresponding to June 20, 1969 CE.
