Now that we are living in the world of technology, you can learn the Holy Quran at home without any difficulty.
This is because the British and the American Muslims can learn directly with some Arab and Egyptian Sheik via a lot of the famous social media apps, such as Zoom or Skype.

It offers the service of a self- test to check your standard and level of memorization. The app was updated by the Abdel Aziz al-Ashy software company. It is available in both Arabic and English. 4 – The app of Muhafiz al-Wahyayn: It is a free and comprehensive app for memorizing the Holy Quran. It provides the user with various recitations to memorize the Holy Quran in Ottoman calligraphy along with the prophet’s sunnah. The app offers fifteen narrations of the Holy Quran recorded by twelve reciters. You can read the text you want to memorize and listen to, and then record your voice after memorization to check memorizing the verse in the proper way. What characterizes the app most is that it shows the verses on a separate screen using airplay or an id adaptor. The app also includes a list of the prophet’s hadiths and how to memorize them in addition to the service of memorizing the Holy Quran. The app was updated by Hosam al-Hamady in 2014. 6 – The app of al-Mushaf al-Mua’lim, the teaching Mushaf: It is an app free of charge to teach kids how to recite, memorize and read the Holy Quran in an easy, simple and interesting way. The given kid can listen to the Holy Quran recorded by the voices of the recitation masters: Mohammad Seddiq al-Minshawi, Ali al-Huzaifi and Mahmoud Khalil al-Husari. It teaches children the points of articulation of the Arabic voices and the basic grammar and rules of Tajweed. It presents examples for the formation of the Arabic letters. How can I learn how to read the Holy Quran in three hours?
You can learn how to read the Holy Quran in three hours, for the Arabic language consists of three syllables: the long syllable, the short syllable and the sokoon.
First the short harakah; “60 minutes”
Al- Fath: “ 20 minutes “.

4- How should a beginner start reading the Quran?

How to learn reading the Holy Quran, the spiritual light which guide a Muslim to the right path:
The most effective way to do so is by exerting effort every day. It is the way of those who want to learn the Quran, though they can’t stick to a Sheik to learn. It is a self-learning way without a teacher.
1 – The moral ways, before starting this; you should possess the strong will to learn the Holy Quran. This is to overcome hardships and gain a great reward for every effort you exert. Also it is for you to find it quite easy.
2 – Renew your intention. All this effort should be devoted for Allah, not for anything else. It is preferable to perform two rakats for Allah to help you and make it easy for you to learn the Holy Quran. This will help achieve your ultimate goal.
3 – The materialistic means: It requires you to possess:
a – A Mushaf, preferably a big one, but more important to be a colored -lettered one.
b – Audio taped.
c – An access to the internet.
d – A computer to see and listen to the Sheik.
4 – Tips to learn the Holy Quran:
a – Wake up early, after the dawn prayer, as often as you can.
b – Start with the short surahs and the Amma part.
c – Learn a tajweed rule every day, via a thematic book, the internet or the utube. When you have finished the tajweed book, open the Mushaf, a plain, non-colored book. Read any verse, and try to deduce the rules included in it.
d – Write down in a separate notebook.
e – Use a colored Mushaf this time and check the rule, one day each.
f – Always read aloud to strengthen your voice and control pronouncing the sounds in a correct way. Reading the Quran correctly is a must for tajweed.
g – Reward yourself every time you have learnt a tajweed rule, and whenever your articulation has improved.
h – Read to your friends and learn from their advice. Beautify your voice. The prophet said,: “Beautify your voices reading the Holy Quran.”
j – Record your recitation and listen to evaluate yourself. You should know that some verses may sound alike, this will make recitation easier for you.
k – When you have mastered tajweed, your voice, articulation, make your dream bigger. Aspire to memorize the Holy Quran.
Is a Muslim rewarded the same when reading the Holy Quran on the phone?
“ Peace be upon you. There is no doubt that reading the Holy Quran from a Mushaf is better than reading it from one’s memory. This is because reading from the Mushaf combines two ways of worship; the recitation and looking into the Mushaf. Reading from the phone screen and the computer implies both.

Tajweed means to make things better or more perfect. So tajweed means to read without any mistakes.The aspects of tajweed in the Holy Quran are two. They are the following:
The theoretical part:
1- It relates to the rules set by scholars in the tajweed grammar books, such as prolongation  / mamdood / and its times, the points of articulation; izhar, idgam, iqlab, ikhfaa’ etc which were elaborately explained in the tajweed books.
2 – Practical tajweed: it is called the applied tajweed. A learner can’t master this aspect of tajweed without learning the rules at the hands of a Sheik. This rules include the / rum /, / ishmam /, / ghunnah /, / tasheel / , and the /lipial ikhfaa’/. This aspect protects the learner from the wrong articulation and inferring inaccurate meaning in the Holy Quran.

6- what is The rules of Istiaza Bismillah?

First: Istiaza and Bismillah; Istiazah is a recommended sunnah. It is required to be said when reciting the Holy Quran. However it is not a part of it. Some scholars think that it is obligatory, especially at the beginning of recitation, either at the beginning of a surah or at its end. Allah says:{”If you read the Holy Quran, ask for the protection of Allah from the accursed devil”}. As for Bismallah,  it is to say,{“In the name of Allah, the most Merciful and the Most Gracious.} It is obligatory according to Imam Hafs at the beginning of every surah, except for surah al-Tawbah, the Repentance.

7-   what is The rules of al-Noon al-Sakenah and tanween?

in the cases of Rafe’, Nasb, and Jarr. It has four rules. Idgham, Iqlab, Clarification and Concealing
“الإظهار والإدغام والإخفاء والإقلاب “

8- what is the meaning of Idgham “الإدغام”

a – Idgham “الإدغام”, it means inserting one thing into another. In terminology, it means a junction of a consonant and a vowel sound. Both sounds become one stressed sound. The tongue moves for one time. The /n/ becomes an imga if it is followed by one of the following sounds:/ b /, / r /, /  / m /, / l /, / w / and the / n /. The above sounds have been put together in the Arabic word: / ( yarmaloon  )”يرملون” /.     The idgham is divided into incomplete idgham and complete idgham.

what is the meaning of Iqlab “الإقلاب”

9- Iqlab “الإقلاب”: It linguistically means “full change”. In terminology, it means to change the / n / sound into an / m / sound with resonance. Iqlab has only one sound, / n /. This is clear in a word like / yunbit /”ينبت”. It is changed to be pronounced as / yumbit “ينبت ” /. So the / n / becomes an / m / sound. Also, it is clear in the two successive words: / samee’on baseer /, they change into / samee’om baseer /. 

10 – what is the meaning of Clarification “الإظهار”

Clarification”الإظهار”: It linguistically means to make something clear. In terminology, it means to utter the sound from its point of utterance without resonance. The sounds of clarification are six. They are:          / hamzah /, / h /, / ain / , / ha’ /, / kha’ / and / ghain /. “”هـ /ء/ح/خ/ع/غ/They are called the throat sounds. The / n / and tanween are clearly articulated without resonance with clarifying the succeeding sound independently. This is clear in the two words / Kufuwan ahad /. “كفوا أحد”

11- what is the meaning of Concealing الإخفاء ؟

Concealing: Linguistically means to hide something. Terminologically, it means to pronounce a sakin non- stressed sound in between izhar and Idgham. This happens while maintaining the resonance in the first sound for two harakas. The sounds of concealing are: / sad /, / thal /,  / tha’ /, / j /, / sh / Q /, / s /, / k /, / dhad /,     / tha’ /, / z /, / t /, / d /, / ta’ / and / f /. 

12- what is the rules of meem sakin “ميم ساكنة ”

       It has three rules:
1 – The oral Idgham: It is to insert the sakin /m / into another voweled / m /at the beginning of the succeeding word, so that they both become one stressed / m /. This is called a lipial Idgham or identical with observing the pronunciation with the full resonance.
2 – The lipial concealing: It is to hide the  initial / m / which is preceded by a / b / sound.
3 – And The lipial clarification: It is to clarify the / m / if it is followed by all the sounds except for the / m / and the / b /. It is the clearest if followed by the / w / or the / f /.
Fourth: The rules of the stressed / m / and the / n / sounds in case of sequence or stoppage, whether they occur in the middle or at the end of a word. The length of the resonance is for two harakahs.

13- what is the meaning of idgham between two leaters?

Fifth: The rules of Idgham. It is to insert a consonant sound into a vowel sound which follows it. This happens by omitting the consonant and stressing the vowel sound. It is divided into three kinds:a – Idgham of the two identical sounds, either as to the point of articulation and the manner of utterance. This is whether they occur in the same word or in two successive words.
b – The homogeneous idgham: It is when the two successive sounds are uttered at the same point of articulation in the oral cavity, and differ in some characteristics. There are exclusively seven cases: They are the / Ta’ / with the / Tta’ /, the / Tta’ / with the / Ta’ /, / d / with / t / , / t / with / d /, the  / Thal / with the / Tha’ / and the / b / with the / m /.
c – The idgham of the two closely uttered sounds: It is to utter two successive sounds which are nearly produced at the same point of articulation. It is exclusively in two pairs of sounds: they are the / l / and the / r /, and the / k / and the Arabic     / q / sounds, respectively.

14- what do you know about Tafkheem, magnification and Tarqeeq, thinning?

Linguistically, magnification is to make something bigger. Terminologically, it is to give the sound an extra strength or stress to resonate  and have an echo within the oral cavity. Tarqeeq means to make something thinner. In terminology, it is a state of thinning given to a sound when producing it, so that there is no echo felt in the oral cavity.     The rules and characteristics of producing each sound. There are seventeen points of articulation where the Arabic sounds are produced, stemming from five original main points of articulation. They are: uvula, the larynx, the pharynx, the throat, the tongue, the lips, ( the oral cavity ) and the nasal cavity. The characteristics of the sounds clarify the closely produced sounds at the same point of articulation. There are nineteen known characteristics. They are hissing, loudness, looseness, stress, in between, Istifalah, Istilaa, Infitah, intibaq, al-Zalaq, Ismat, voicing, Qalqalah, prolongation, madd, looseness, Istitalah, deviation, Tafashi and  repetition.
The rules of waqf, stoppage, and Ibtida’, beginning, are divided into two sections. They are as follows:
Stoppage, linguistically means to abstain from or halt. In terminology, it means to halt one’s voice while reading and reciting for a short while to take one’s breath, then resume the recitation. Stoppage is permissible, unless there is something that prevents it. It occurs in the middle of the Ayat or at its beginning. It doesn’t occur in the middle of a word or what is sequenly written. There are fhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allahour kinds of waqf, stoppage. They are: The obligatory stoppage, such as through sneezing or coughing or breathing problems. It is permissible. The optional stoppage occurs while teaching the Holy Quran; to show the rules or to answer some question. The awaiting stoppage, when the reader of the Holy Quran to show various narrations of reciting the Quran. The optional stoppage: It is when the reader intentionally stops at a Quranic word. It can be either perfect, sufficient, beautiful or bad. Ibtida’ is to start doing something; to start reciting the Holy Quran. It is of two types, permissible. It is to start by using independent meaningful words that please Allah. The other deniable istiftah is to start the recitation with ugly words  that spoil or change the meaning to be unlike that Allah has intended the meaning to be.

15- Will the reciter take the same reward when recitation the Quran from the phone?

Wa’alaikum Assalam Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh (peace be upon you and mercy and blessings of Allah),certainly recitation the Holy Quran from Al-Musshaf is better than reciting it by heart,because recitation from the Book combines two worships,worship of the recitation, and and the worship of looking at the Holy Quran, and recitation from the mobile phone as well the computer combines between the two worships looking and recitation

Why do we learn tajweed (intonation)?

There are many matters make man learn Tajweed, among them that comes to keep the tongue from the mistake in the articulations of the Holy Quran when recitation, it is also helps in :
1- Meditate the meanings of the Quran .
2 – contemplating its verses and its purposes.
3- It is also helps in learning ِArabic Language.
4 – Goodness of the performance.
5 – The reciter can keep his tongue from making mistakes during recitation to the verses of the Quran.
6- achieving happiness in the world and in the hereafter.
7 – Reaching the reciter of the Quran to recite it softly as revealed from Almighty Allah.
8- Quality of recitation .
Secondly : Learning Tajweed(intonation) has many virtues and of them that come :
1- Following the example of Allah’s Messenger [PBUH] and the noble companions, for Almighty Allah has recited The Quran intonated(Mujawwad) to Gabriel [MPW]and Gabriel recited it intonated(Mujawwad) to the prophet [PBUH] , and the prophet [PBUH] recited it to the noble companions .
2- Achieving servitude to Almighty Allah and following His orders and in compliance to His saying : “and recite the Quran with measured recitation.”
3- Reaching to Almighty Allah’s love ,through mastery of learning the Quran and intonating it (tajweed ahu) and knowing its rules.
4 – learning it considers one of the best and most honorable sciences, because it is related to the noblest Book, it is the Book of Almighty Allah.
Thirdly : Rule of learning Tajweed(intonation) varies as follows :
Knowledge of the intonation’s provisions and its parts considers a collective duty for common Muslims , meaning if a group of Muslims learnt it there will be no sin upon the others,either for the scholarists(Al -ulmaa)and the Quran’s keepers(Hafadhatul-Quran) learning intonation’s provisions and its parts considers individual duty, as for working with Tajweed and practicing it, it’s individual duty upon whoever recite the Quran to worship witn, whether for recitation in the prayer or outside.
ًWe extract from the above that working in intonation (tajweed) is an individual duty upon every adult Muslim when recitation the Quran , reciting the Holy Quran and and recite it intonated (Mujawwad) is from the obligatory duties upon whoever wants to recite the Quranو, there are many proofs on that , as His saying The Almighty in His commending on the Quran’s keepers(Hafadhatu – al –Quran) :
