What a Class Looks Like — From Your London Living Room
For families used to dropping children at a madrasah, here's the practical flow of a typical 30-minute Eaalim session:
- Five minutes before: the teacher sends a Zoom or Skype link via WhatsApp. Your child opens it on the kitchen tablet.
- Greeting and recap: the teacher greets your child by name, asks how the school day went, and reviews last lesson's notes.
- Warm-up reading: your child reads what was assigned last week. The teacher screen-shares the Mushaf and follows along, finger on every word.
