Introduction:
This blog is going to talk about one of the important Tajweed rules. Basically and In the first place, This blog is going to discuss and talk about Madd silah sughrah & kubra. Madd silah sughrah & kubra is a very important Tajweed rule. A students should learn the rule of madd silah sughrah and kubra. In addition and Technically, by Madd Silah Sughrah, we mean that the subject, possessive adjective and pronoun and object third person singular masculine pronoun /ه / which means he, his and him in english. therefore, at first, and practically, this happens when the / ه / is preceded by a waw letter if the /ه / has a dammah. Therefore, if the haa letter, /ه / has a kasra and is preceded by a yaa letter and occurs between two letters with harakat (short syllables) as well. So Madd silah sughrah & kubra is very important.
Madd silah sughrah:
Really, Therefore, there are two types of madd silah. For this reason and That is why we are going to discuss and talk about madd sialh sughra & kubra. So, and initially, the first type is Madd Silah sughra. In addition also, the second type of madd is madd silah kubrah. madd silah sughrah. Scholars called it he Lesser Connecting in English. On the other hand, Madd silah kubrah, we called it the Greater Connection in English. Really, there is no hamzat Qat’ after the letter /ه / in the lesser connection as well. therefore, madd silah sughrah & kubra is very important.
Example:
طَعَامِهِۦٓ – لَعَلَّهُۥ يَزَّكَّىٰٓ – أَمَاتَهُۥ فَأَقْبَرَهُۥ – وَمِزَاجُهُۥ مِن
إِنَّهُۥ ظَنَّ – رَبَّهُۥ كَانَ – إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ – إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ
Madd silah Kubra
There is a hamzat Qat’ after the letter /ه / in the greater connection.
Example:
وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ – مَعَهُۥٓ إِذْ – وَحْدَهُۥٓ إِلَّا – ٱسْمُهُۥٓ أَحْمَدُ ۖ
يَتَمَنَّوْنَهُۥٓ أَبَدًۢا – عِندَهُۥٓ أَجْرٌ – حَسْبُهُۥٓ ۚ إِنَّ – لَهُۥٓ أَجْرًا
E-aalim and Madd silah:
