Therefore, Muslim kids should learn surah al-baqarah, especially online. It consists of two hundred and eighty-six aya. It is the second sura in the Mushaf after surat al-Fatiha. This is because There are a lot of benefits and blessings in surah al-Baqarah for a Muslim. It helps a Muslim enjoy good living conditions. Surah al-Baqarah enables a Muslim to have good morals and develop a right Muslim way of conduct. Islam has urged a Muslim to be keen on reciting this surah as well as the Holy Quran as often as they could.
How often should a Muslim read surah al-Baqarah:
First of all, A Muslim can read surah al-Baqarah with tajweed every day, every other day, once a week or once a month. This way, a Muslim gets closer to the pleasure and satisfaction of Allah and gets a lo t of benefits from this great surah. Prophet Mohammad said:
((“Whoever reads one letter from the Holy Quran, they will get a good deed recorded for them. A good deed is doubled up to ten folds. I don’t say that alif, laam meem is one letter. Rather, alif is one letter. laam is another letter and meem is a third letter.”))

Interestingly enough, Surah al-Baqarah is the pillar of the Holy Quran and one of the greatest surahs. This is because it tackles a lot of rulings. It contains a lot of lessons and examples. The surah contains a lot of evidence to show the truth of Islam. No other surah contains as many facts as surah al-Baqarah does. Scholars have ascriced lot of names and descriptions to surah al-Baqarah. This Suraha comes at the beginning of the Holy Quran. Ibn Katheer said that it includes one thousand orders to do and one thousand orders not to do. It also includes one thousand pieces of information.

Basically, Surah al-Baqarah is the longest surah in the Holy Quran. Allah revealed it in al-Madinah after al-Hijrah. It focuses on legislation. It organizes the life of Muslims as well as the Muslim society. Theoritically, The Muslim society in al-Madinah was that of religion and state as well. It is a balanced surah which deals with the two issues on equal footing; the social and the political issues alike. The legislation in the surah confirms the Muslim creed. It sets foundations to the Muslim belief in Allah and the metaphysical world. It stresses that the Quran has come from Allah. Surah al Baqarah assures the Muslims that Allah sent prophet Mohamad as well as the previous prophets and messengers .

Furthermore, the surah gives us a colorful image of the story of creation. It shows us the ability of Allah when He created Adam and honored the first human, when Allah commanded the angels to fall in prostration in front of adam. The surah also narrates in detail what happened between Adam and his wife; and how Satan seduced them. Eventually, it tells us how Allah expelled the first couple out of paradise. Finally, Muslim scholars say that the majority of the Madani surahs contain detailed explanations to the branches of Islam. They don’t discuss the basics of Islam in such detail.
