The tajweed rules in the word (Allah):
We are going to discuss and talk about the rules of the lam of(lafzul jalalah). Over time, the word al-illah developed to become al-lah. However, the second syllable (lah) starts with the letter lam. The letter lam is shamsia. Therefore the lam in (al) is silent. It is eventually read as (Allah). Therefore, the lam in both words is Mushaddad. Moreover, the word Allah and the word Allahumma have either a light lam or a dark lam. When a fatiha, an alif or a dammah comes before either word, the lam is dark. Likewise, when the reader starts his or her reading with the word (Allah) or (Allahumma), the lam in both words is dark in this case as well. join E-aalim and learn the rules of the lam of (lafzul jalalah)
