Introduction:
This blog is going to talk about the holy scriptures. The holy scriptures are the texts of the books which Allah revealed to prophets and messengers all over ages. islam is the last religion. Prophet Mohammad was the last prophet and messenger. The holy Quran is the last holy book and the last revelation. Kids study arabic and islamic studies online. The holy Quran was prophet Mohammad’s everlasting miracle. Moreover, the holy Quran acknowledged the previous books. Muslims respect and acknowledge all the holy scriptures . It is a pillar of the Muslim’s six pillars of faith to believe in the previous holy scriptures and revelation.
The messengers received the revelation:
Humans did not see Allah. Over time, humans needed guidance. Whenever humans forget their original religion which Adam brought to them, Allah sent messengers with the holy scriptures. messengers came with messages to their folks and people. Jibril brought down the word of Allah to messengers. It was the role of messengers to convey the message and the word of Allah. In fact messengers suffered a lot in doing their missions conveying the holy scriptures. a lot of people rejected, opposed and even fought the messengers sent to them. They wanted things and matters not to change and remain the same.
Ibrahim and the first holy scripture:
Prophet Ibrahim was a very important prophet in the history of the revelation. He received one of the holy scriptures. Kids study Arabic and islamic studies online. They learn that Ibrahim took the title of the friend of allah. scholars also call Ibrahim the father of the prophets and messengers. This was because his offspring included many prophets and messengers. Ibrahim used his mind, conscience and heart to know his Lord Allah. He opposed blasphemy and polytheism. Ibrahim suffered a lot to convey the message of Allah. He proved to his stubborn people and folks that stone statues can’t be true gods by any means. Prophet Ibrahim received revelation about the holy scriptures . The holy Quran called the book which Ibrahim received suhuf. in arabic Suhuf means parchments.
Mousa and his Suhuf:
After Ibrahim, Mousa ibn Imran appeared. The holy Quran called the book revealed to Mousa as Suhuf as well as the Suhuf of Ibrahim. However, the book revealed to Mousa is the Torah.Kids study Arabic and islamic studies online. They learn that Mousa had a long story in the holy Quran. The holy Quran told the story of Mousa since his birth. A lot of details of the story of Musa’s life appeared in the holy Quran. The holy Quran told us how Mousa went to an appointment with his Lord. The meeting happened during forty days which Mousa spent in the Toor mountain of sinai. On the other hand, the holy Quran described Tora as guidance and light of Allah.
The Hymns of Dawood:
Dawood was an honorable prophet of Allah. Scholars say he enjoyed a very sweet voice. He used to praise Allah. The hymns he sang were so melodious. Kids study Arabic and islamic studies online. They learn that these hymns were called al-Zabour. After dawood, Issa bin Mariam appeared. Allah revealed to him the Gospel. All these books are holy books. Muslims believe in these holy books. the holy Quran witnessed that they were all the books of Allah. Eventually, prophet Mohammad appeared. Angel Jibril revealed the holy Quran to prophet Mohammad. The revelation lasted for more than twenty-three years. The holy Quran is prophet Mohammad’s miracle which Allah vowed to preserve and keep unaltered and uncorrupted.

Muslims must believe that the holy scriptures were the books of allah
