Prophet Mohammad
Introduction:
The illiterate who taught the world, Prophet Mohammad was born an orphan in a Makkah, remote city in the rocky mountains of western Arabia. He was also an illiterate who could not read or write. Allah sent him to all humanity to get them out of the darkness of injustice into the light of guidance and monotheism. Prophet Mohammad was really one of the five prophets of determination. This is because he resisted both polyethism and the misguided people of the book. The previous prophets had their own miracles and signs which disappeared with their death. However, prophet Mohammad’s sign and miracle is the everlasting Holy Quran.

The split of the prophet’s chest:
When the illiterate who taught the world, prophet Mohammad was only four or six years old, he lived with Halima al-Sadia at Bani Saad. One day, he was playing with his playmates. Suddenly, a stranger, angel Jibril, approached him. Jibril made prophet Mohammad lie down. Afterwards, Jibril removed the clothes from his chest and operated on him. Jibril split the prophet’s chest. Later, he took out the prophet’s heart and washed it in a basin of gold with Zamzam water. During that operation, Jibril removed a black clot of blood from the prophet’s heart. Jibril commented that it was the portion of Satan. The awe-struck children ran to Halima crying that her child, Mohammed, was killed. Halima was in horror and decided to return mohammad to his natural mother, Amina bint Wahb.
Israa and Mirage, ascension and the night journey:
one night, prophet mohammad was asleep when Jibril came over to him. Jibril asked prophet mohammad to go out with him. Jibril had riding animal with him. this riding animal was between a horse and a mule. they traveled in the night and went to jerusalem where prophet mohammad met with all the previous prophets and messengers. afterwards, prophet mohammad and Jibril began to ascend in the seven skies. in each heaven they met some prophets and messengers who welcomed and greeted him. that night, prophet mohammad saw a lot of signs and miracles. also allah prescribed the five obligatory daily prayers for Muslims.
The palm tree trunk
when prophet mohammad arrived in al-madina, he built the mosque to pray in. he used to give sermons and speeches standing on a palm tree trunk. it served as a podium for prophet mohammad to stand on for people to see him better. owing to the increase in the number of muslims, they had to expand the mosque. therefore, Muslims had to replace the palm tree trunk. they built a new minber instead. prophet mohammad ascended the new minber and left the old palm tree trunk in the corner of the mosque. suddenly, all the Muslims in the monsque could hear the moaning of the palm tree trunk. at once, prophet mohammed went to it and gave it a hug. finally, the palm tree trunk became quiet.
The Holy Quran, the everlasting miracle:
many sera scholars spoke about different Miracles and signs of prophet Mohammad. a lot of people agreed and disagreed about such Miracles and signs. however, there is one, everlasting and undeniable sign left by prophet Mohammad. it is the Holy Quran. like the people of isa ibn maryam who were advanced in medicine. therefore, allah gave isa medical miracles. prophet Mohammad’s people were clever in poetry and eloquence. therefore, allah challenged them through the Holy Quran. allah even challenged them to imitate the technique and style of the Holy Quran. definitely, they could not imitate the Marvelous book. in addition, the Holy Quran managed to preserve the arabic language itself.
