Points of suspicion about Islam “ Don’t take the Jews or the Christians as intimate friends”
We are going to talk about a verse in Surah al Maidah, The Banquet, which also causes much debate. They {the non Muslims} might say “ You have a verse which says { You, believers, don’t take the Jews or the Christians as intimate friends, they are the friends of each other; and whoever does so, is considered as one of them. Allah doesn’t guide the unjust ones}

They might say: ”How can we live together, while your book says don’t take us as close friends? How can I be your neighbor and was born next door? We grew up together, we played on the stairs together; we played street football together. We congratulated each other on our weddings. We condoled with each other on sad occasions.
Let’s also talk about the Jews

He, himself, was jailed in the USA too. Of course, Norman Fim Klistain is a famous physician. His video inside the university of Waterloo is very famous. Every time he gives a speech, he puts the Palestinian flag in front of him. He is very pro-Palestinian.

Verse number 51 states :”You, believers, do not take the Jews or the Christians as close friends.” This verse is very general. However, verse number 57 is specific and gives more details. It states; “ You, believers, do not take as close friends those who mock and make fun of your faith, amongst the people of the book before you or the blasphemers. And fear Allah if you are true believers.”

This means that any Jew, Christian, idolator or even someone without a faith, they mustn’t be your close friends. They mustn’t if they mock your faith, make insulting caricatures, or shoot films insulting your religion. So if someone says to me:” I am traveling to Denmark next summer, I would say that it is a nice country. Don’t forget to visit places so and so, this museum, that city or this place. The natural views there are astunning. However, I would also say that some people in Denmark drew insulting caricatures of prophet Mohammad in 2006. Do not take them as your friends there. Albeit, if I say take care of all the Danes, this is general speaking. Nevertheless, I have explained to them whom to avoid and not to take as close friends. So the Word “ naskh”, modification to the fundamentalist, doesn’t mean omission. This is the modern and contemporary meaning. “Naskh” means to give details. It explains general verses and specifies the general meaning.. So verse 57 {+6} solved the problem for me, { You, believers, do not take as close friends those who mock and make fun of your faith, amongst the people of the book before you or the blasphemers.
