Idgham al-mutamathelyne al-sagheer is a tajweed case in which a meem Mutakarekkah follows a meem sakinah. In this case, the reader pronounces one meem . A Ghunnah of two beats accompanies this Idgham. idgham al-Mutamathelyne al-Sagheer is a very important Tajweed rule. when a muslim masters this rule, he or she reads and recites the holy quran in a better way. the listeners as well as the reader have a better understanding of the meanings of the quranic words and verses.
the way of pronunciation:
if a meem Sakin / مْ /is followed by a “/ م /” the second Meem “/ م /” we pronounce it with Ghunnah with two beats.
