The rules of al-meem al-sakinah Ikhfa Shafawi

Introduction:  This blog is going to talk about one of the most important rules of Tajweed. This blog is going to talk about the rules of al-meem al-sakinah. . we are going to talk about Ikhfa (hiding). however, al-meem al-sakinah means to produce or pronounce an / m  / ٍSakin sound without any of the three harakat. The three short vowels or harakat in Arabic are: fatihah / a /, Dhammah / u / and kasrah / e /. the Sakin Meem doesn’t have any of the above short vowels or harakat following it. This case is called Sukoon. Scholars  represented it by a small zero sign or the head of the Arabic letter    /  ح /. The rules of  al-meem al-sakinah ikhfa shafawi is very important. First: Ikhfa Shafawi (Lipial hiding): Ikhfa means to hide. So it is the hiding of the origination of Meem by not letting the two lips come in complete contact. Letter of lkhfa shafawi (lipial hiding): “/  ب  /”. The rules of al-meem al-sakinah Ikhfa Shafawi The way of pronounciation: If the meem sakin is followed by a / ب / sound, the meem is pronounced in a way that the two lips don’t come in complete contact.
