Hifz simply means "memorization." A Hafiz or Hafizha is someone who has memorized the entire Quran by heart, every ayah, every word, in order. Becoming a Hafiz is one of the most honored achievements in Islam — the Prophet ﷺ said:

“Whoever memorizes the Quran, it will be a crown of dignity on the Day of Judgment for him and for his parents.” (Paraphrased concept based on authentic narrations from Tirmidhi and others)

A well-structured online Hifz program is not a pre-recorded video series. It is live, one-on-one, and follows the same method that classical Hifz schools have used for centuries — delivered over a video call.
