He also said: “Who reads one letter of the Holy Quran gains ten good deeds, a good deed will be multiplied ten times as much. I don’t say (alif, lam, meem) is one letter. Rather, alif is a letter, lam is a letter and meem is a letter.”
“مَنْ قَرَأَ حَرْفًا مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ فَلَهُ حَسَنَةٌ وَالْحَسَنَةٌ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا لَا أَقُولُ الم حَرَفٌ وَلَكِنْ أَلِفٌ حَرْفٌ وَلَامٌ حَرْفٌ وَمِيمٌ حَرْفٌ”
