Tajweed is the discipline that ensures every letter of the Quran is recited the way the Prophet ο·Ί recited it. This exercise drills the rule of Rules of Meem Saakinah - Izhaar Shafawi (lesson 8 in our tajweed series) using interactive examples drawn from the Quran. Practising a tajweed rule actively β recognising it in context and applying it on real ayaat β is far more effective than memorising the rule in isolation.
