Tajweed is the discipline that ensures every letter of the Quran is recited the way the Prophet ο·Ί recited it. This exercise drills the rule of The Heavy Laam of the Exalted Name of Allah (lesson 23 in our tajweed series) using interactive examples drawn from the Quran. Practising a tajweed rule actively β recognising it in context and applying it on real ayaat β is far more effective than memorising the rule in isolation.
