Introduction :
In Islamic studies, historians and the seerah scholars have written countless books on the biography of the prophet . The more important a person is, the more books are written on them. Historians say that the prophet was the most important and the greatest human ever born. This is because of the effect which prophet Mohammad had on human history. Prophet Mohammad, they say, created a nation, a civilization and a culture which had never existed but for him.
The Eaalim seerah book series :
The E-aalim is interested in all branches of Islamic studies. It is true that E-aalim is an institute for teaching Arabic, Islamic studies and the Holy Quran. Therefore, the seerah plays a very important role in the education and upbringing of a Muslim kid. Muslim kids need badly to learn the details of prophet Mohammad’s life story. For centuries, Muslims worldwide have held sessions in which poets, scholars and elderly people narrated the details of prophet Mohammad’s life story.
These were joyous occasions in which kids learnt about prophet Mohammad and loved him more and more. To carry on with such a great task, the E-aalim has designed a simple and revised version of sera books oriented for kids. The objective of this series is to teach Muslim kids the seerah of the prophet .
The E-aalim seerah book one :
Book one, as a part of Islamic studies, traces the events of the prophet‘s life story chronically. This means that book one starts with mentioning the prophet’s parents. Kids learn in their Islamic studies lessons and the Holy Quran courses that the prophet’s father was called Abdullah ibn Abdel Muttalib ibn Hashim ibn Abd Manaf. The best Quran and Islamic studies teachers teach their kid students that the prophet’s mother was called Aamina bint Wahb, a cousin of the prophet’s father. Also, the best online Islamic studies and Quran teachers teach their kid students that both of the prophet‘s parents came from the tribe of Quraish who lived in Makkah for centuries before Islam. The Arabs had and still have the custom of tracing one’s lineage till the tenth great grandfather or even before. The lineage of the prophet goes back in history to Isma’eel son of prophet Ibrahim.
Mohammad was born as an orphan :
In Islamic studies courses for kids and adults, kid and adult students learn that Allah planned that the prophet was born as an orphan for a lot of reasons. First, the prophet never said “Oh, my father.” He always said: “Oh my Lord.” This means that prophet Mohammad; and consequently every Muslim should depend on Allah only. Second, no human had almost interfered with bringing the prophet up. Prophet Mohammad said about this: “My Lord brought me up and He really did it well.” Third, prophet Mohammad came to perfect good morals. It was good morals which characterized prophet Mohammad’s character. Also, prophet Mohammad received the Holy Quran. So it was the good morals and the Holy Quran that gave prophet Mohammad that importance and significance; no tribe or a family to support him.
Prophet Mohammad came to make history :
Fifty-five days before prophet Mohammad’s birth, Abraha, the Abassini leader had waged and marched a military campaign with the purpose of sweeping the Kaba up. Kids and adults learn in their Islamic studies courses for kids and adults that out of rage and envy, Abraha had built a colossal cathedral in Sanaa, the Yemeni capital. He had wanted the Arabs to make a pilgrimage to his cathedral instead of Kaba. However, the Arabs ignored his cathedral. Therefore, Abraha vowed to destroy al-Kaba. However, Allah destroyed the army of Abraha in defense of the house of Allah. This historical event was called the “Year of the elephant”; because Abraha brought gigantic elephants with his army to help him.
