“إِنَّ عِدَّةَ الشُّهُورِ عِندَ اللَّهِ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَهْرًا فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ مِنْهَا أَرْبَعَةٌ حُرُمٌ”
                                 (Surah At-Tawbah: 36).

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was taken from Masjid Al-Haram in Makkah to Masjid Al-Aqsa in Jerusalem. In addition, he ascended through the heavens.

This event is a cornerstone of Islamic belief. It teaches Muslims the importance of faith, perseverance, and the central role of prayer in their daily lives. It is also a reminder of the unity of Muslims. This is because the journey connected two of Islam’s holiest sites.
