The role of a mother in family building

Introduction:

In this blog, we are going to talk about the role of a mother in family building. A mother has a great favor and right in Islam.  Kids who learn the holy Quran, Arabic and islamic studies online learn that Allah has honored mothers. Islam  says that the satisfaction of Allah and paradize are under the feet of mothers. This means that the shortest way to the satisfaction and the pleasure of Allah is to satisfy, honor and respect one’s mother. However, why has Allah given mothers such a great favor and high rank? This is because mothers are the source of life for their children. Moreover, mothers are merciful creatures. Allah is even more merciful than mothers.

A good mother makes a good Muslim:

A good mother makes a good Muslim, a good family and a good society. Islam aims at bringing up and educating good Muslims who are mentally and psychologically healthy. This can happen when the child-parent relationship is a healthy and balanced one.  For this reason, children must never say the slightest sign of discontent  to one’s parents, fathers or mothers. This is while parents are still healthy and strong. When parents attain old age, daughters and sons must be more careful not to disappoint their parents. 

Allah urges Muslims to be grateful:

Parental gratitude is everything for a Muslim. Allah urges Muslims to be grateful to their parents. Allah says: ((“We have advised man to do good to his parents.”)) In another ayah, Allah says: ((“Your Lord has commanded not to worship any other one except for Him; and to be grateful to your parents.” When both or either of them attain old age, don’t say the slightest word of discontent to them or yell at them and speak gently to them.”; be merciful to them and make dua saying, Oh Allah have mercy on them because they brought me up when I was young.)) The role of a mother in family building:

In Islam, a child must honor his or her mothers . This is because of the vital role they play in family building. Islam sees mothers as the cornerstone of a family. When there is a mother, there is a family. If there is a good muslim mother, there is a good muslim family.  The big question is: Are mothers born or made? The fact is that women are mothers by nature. However, it is the social atmosphere which makes a good or bad mother. In other words, if a Muslim brings his or her daughter up properly, a girl is properly to be a good mother, she will be a good one. If a Muslim neglects their daughter, she will be a bad mother. Kids should do islamic studied to learn the importance of their mothers’ role in building their families.
